1. Do you enjoy watching movies?
71.43% (15 people) said “A lot”, 19.05% (4 people) said “Sort of”, and 9.52% (2 people) said “No”.
What this shows:
Most people said they really enjoy watching movies, which means they are already interested in films. This is good because it shows that our target audience would actually be willing to watch and engage with our project.
2. Favourite film genres
The most popular genres were horror, romance, and suspense/mystery at 19.05% each, followed by thriller and comedy at 14.29%, along with other genres at the same percentage.
What this shows:
From this, it’s clear that people like genres that have emotion and tension, especially horror, suspense, and thriller. These genres are more serious and exciting, which suggests the audience prefers something engaging rather than just simple or light content.
3. Preferred sub-genre
52.38% (11 people) preferred mystery/suspense, 28.57% (6 people) chose horror, and 19.05% (4 people) selected thriller.
What this shows:
Mystery and suspense were the most popular. This shows that people enjoy films where they don’t know what’s going to happen next and where tension builds slowly. It also means they like thinking and figuring things out while watching.
4. Favourite thriller films
27th Floor was chosen by 52.38% of the audience, followed by The Chase at 19.05%, The Morning She Woke Up at 14.29%, The Masked Man at 9.52%, and The Elevator at 4.76%.
