I took on multiple roles throughout this project, mainly working as an editor and cinematographer. I started by creating a shot list to help plan the visuals and set the overall direction and tone of the film. A large part of my role was editing, where I worked on putting together and improving the footage to create tension and keep the mood consistent.
I also helped design the logo using Canva, where I tried different fonts and styles until we found something that matched our theme. Along with that, I edited teasers for our project and bloopers, which helped promote the film and give a short preview to the audience.
To support my team during editing, I created a vision draft to show the kind of visuals, pacing and mood we wanted. We stayed in constant communication through WhatsApp, where I gave feedback on small edits and suggested changes so everything stayed consistent.
I also worked closely with Saif and Ayla on the film opening idea and colour grading. We adjusted the visuals a few times until they matched the eerie and cinematic tone we wanted from the start
