TASK 3

Prelim Tasks 3:

Select an existing film or series opening in your chosen genre and identify five key shots (e.g., Extreme Close-up, Establishing Shot, Point-of-View Shot, Tracking Shot, low-angle shot).

Then, film a completely new 15-second sequence of your own creation using only these five shot types, ensuring the sequence adheres to the visual style and conventions of that genre.

The film I picked is JOKER 2019 as it matches thegenre i have picked

1. Establishing Shot

This shot shows the full location and setting. It helps the audience understand where the scene is taking place and gives context to the story.

2. Close-Up Shot

This shot focuses on the character’s face, showing his emotions clearly. It helps the audience understand his mental state and what he is feeling.

3. Point of View (POV) Shot

This shot shows both the character and what he is looking at, which helps the audience see the scene from his perspective. It makes the moment feel more real and connects the viewer to the character.

4. Tracking Shot

This shot follows the character as he moves, making the scene feel more active and tense. It also helps show what is happening around him.

5. Low-Angle Shot

This shot is taken from below the character, making him look more powerful and confident. It shows how his character is changing and becoming more dominant

I made the 15 seconds sequence of my own creation using only these five shot types
